Part-Time Office Administrator

Location: Work from home, supporting our Torquay-based electrical business

Rate: $33 per hour

Hours: Flexible part-time, 24 hours a week

Irontech is a family-run electrical business based in beautiful Torquay, founded 5 years ago and now proudly employing 5 team members. We're values-driven, impact-focused, and growing fast. As we scale, we're looking for a reliable, proactive Office Administrator and Scheduler to help support our operations.

Your Role: Key Responsibilities:


✉️ Administration & Customer Support

- Manage our admin inbox and respond to enquiries promptly

- Answer and handle incoming phone calls from customers and team members

- Support customers with care and professionalism

- Purchase stock/items online or from department stores as needed


🗓 Scheduling & Invoicing

- Coordinate accepted quotes and incoming job orders

- Schedule all customer bookings efficiently

- Follow up on jobs to ensure smooth completion 

- Triage and reschedule bookings when needed

- Optimise technician scheduling by location for maximum efficiency


📁 Office Support & Communication

- Assist the Director with general admin tasks to lighten the load

- Communicate professionally via email, phone, and our job management system

- Liaise with our sister trade company and our bookkeeper


What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in administration and scheduling

- Excellent attention to detail and time management

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and prioritising effectively

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Gmail, and Google Suite is a bonus)

- Positive, professional, and team-oriented mindset

- Reliable, friendly, and adaptable


Proposed Working Hours (Flexible):

- Total of 24 hours a week, spread across 5 days 

- Hours are negotiable and can be adapted to suit the right candidate. 

- There is room to increase hours as the role grows.
